About the Artwork
As a passionate wildlife enthusiast, much of my inspiration for my artwork comes from the natural world. Before I begin each piece I spend time studying my subject either in the wild (if I am able to) or researching it as much as possible.

For me, this creates a piece that is not only technically sound but also full of the creature's character and reflects their natural behaviour.

I believe that one of the most effective ways to inspire a love of nature and conserving it is through the medium of art.

When I begin the drawing process I make several rough field sketches before creating a final outline. To add colour I use high quality coloured pencils and pastels.
